The core media processing engine of the Zixi software platform, providing intelligent routing, normalization, conditioning, and delivery of live broadcast-quality video over IP networks. Designed for flexible deployment in cloud, on-prem, or hybrid environments, Broadcaster enables reliable contribution, primary distribution, and channel delivery over managed or unmanaged IP.

Resilient Transport +
Recover from up to 40% packet loss with adaptive FEC/ARQ, hitless failover, and multi-network bonding for uninterrupted video at sub-second latency. For feeds that must stay on air, optional Zero Latency Frame Thinning trades frame rate for continuity instead of dropping to slate.
Stream Processing +
Transcode, transmux, map PIDs, and normalize programs on the fly. SPTS Multiplex combines multiple SPTS sources into one output, HLS Normalization cleans inconsistent HLS into broadcast-grade MPEG-TS, and SCTE-35/224 insertion drives regionalization and ad insertion.

Time Addressable Media Store (TAMS)
Write live streams as time-stamped segments directly into your TAMS store, with frame-accurate, API-driven retrieval for clipping, highlights, and compliance recording, no rendering or file transfers.
Security & Encryption
AES-256 encryption and DTLS authentication secure content on ingest, with full input-to-output stream encryption on the Zixi and SRT paths. Per-stream session control and access policies apply across the workflow.
