NAB Streaming Summit: How Sinclair Migrated to an IP-Based Platform to Facilitate the Transition of their Station MCRs into the Cloud

As Sinclair migrate their TV station master control rooms (MCR) to the cloud they needed a solution for managing delivery of the hundreds of live contribution feeds from national networks, local news and studios to the cloud as well as for the cloud MCR outputs which must be sent back to the local markets for broadcast. Attendees will hear how Sinclair overcame these challenges with Zixi’s IP-based platform, improving efficiency, reducing costs, minimizing troubleshooting and enabling a predictable and optimized architecture for their broadcast operations.
