OnAir Mobile App Privacy Policy

Zixi, LLC (“Zixi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the OnAir Pro mobile application (“OnAir Pro” or the “App”) for organizations using Zixi products and services. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you use the OnAir Pro App.
This policy applies only to the OnAir Pro mobile application and should be read together with Zixi’s general Privacy Policy, available at: https://zixi.com/privacy-policy/
1. Purpose of the App
OnAir Pro is intended for use by existing Zixi customers as a professional live video contribution tool. The App is managed through Zixi’s ZEN Master software program and is not designed for general consumer use.
2. Information the App Handles
Video and Audio Content
The App captures live video and audio content from the device camera and microphone solely for the purpose of live contribution to destinations configured through ZEN Master (such as Zixi Broadcaster endpoints).
- Video and audio are transmitted in real time.
- The App does not store or retain recorded video or audio content after transmission.
- Any retention or processing of live content is governed by the customer’s Zixi deployment and any applicable Zixi operational policies.
Configuration and Connectivity Data
To function correctly, the App may transmit technical and operational data such as:
- Network information (e.g., IP address)
- Device characteristics required for provisioning
- Stream configuration and connection parameters provided by ZEN Master
This data is used exclusively to enable secure configuration, connectivity, and live video transport.
Diagnostics and Operational Data
The App may collect limited diagnostic or operational information (such as error or performance data) to ensure reliability and proper operation. This information is not used for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. Data the App Does Not Collect
The OnAir Pro App does not:
- Collect personal contact information such as name, email address, or phone number
- Collect precise location data
- Use advertising identifiers
- Track users across apps or websites
- Serve advertisements
4. Data Use
Information handled by the App is used solely to:
- Configure the App via ZEN Master
- Enable live video contribution
- Maintain performance, reliability, and security
- Provide technical support when required
5. Data Sharing
The App does not sell or share data for advertising or marketing purposes.
Information may be transmitted to Zixi-controlled systems or customer-managed infrastructure (such as ZEN Master or Zixi Broadcaster instances) as part of normal operation. Any further handling of that data is subject to the customer’s agreements with Zixi.
6. Data Security
Zixi uses commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data transmitted by the App, including secure transport mechanisms consistent with Zixi products.
7. Children’s Privacy
The OnAir Pro App is not intended for use by children and is designed for professional, enterprise environments.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted with an updated “Last updated” date.
