At IBC 2019, Zixi was proud to accept two noteworthy industry awards.
The Zixi Platform received the IBC “Best of Show” award in the Media and Entertainment category, recognized for excellence in software that touches the fields of Media Transport, AI Automation, Machine Learning, Cloud, IP-based Workflows, IPTV, Live Production, Live Streaming, Media Transport and Transcoding.
The IBC “Best of Show” award presented by TVB Europe recognizes achievement in product innovation and service development at IBC 2019. All “Best of Show” nominations are reviewed by a panel of independent industry experts at IBC. Each nominee received a stand visit from a judge who conducted a hands-on visit with the product before returning their verdict. Factors taken into account included general quality and relevance of the product; design and build quality; business/operational benefits; innovation in concept/design/delivery; technical excellence; cost-effectiveness; game-changing ability.
Zixi also won the CSI Magazine Award for Best Network Delivery Technology for the Zixi Platform, beating out competition from AWS, Arris and Virgin Media, and Dejero/Intelsat. The 17th Annual CSI Awards celebrate excellence and achievement in the broadcast, video, OTT and IoT sectors – and are organized by CSI Magazine (Cable and Satellite International Magazine).
Established in 2003 the CSI awards are among the most prestigious and competitive technology awards in the industry, designed to recognize and reward innovation and excellence in the cable, satellite, broadcast, IPTV, telco, broadband/OTT video, mobile TV and associated sectors.
